2014-15 Breakout Player: Marcus Smart

Word: With the potential of Rajon Rondo getting traded at any point this season, the Boston Celtics better hope that Smart is ready. Luckily for them, he will be. Smart has all the tools that translate to a starting guard in the NBA. Even though he’s gotten off to somewhat of a slow start during preseason, averaging 7.6 points and 4.6 assists per game, he’ll eventually “get” the NBA.
