The NBA’s Central Division likely underwent the most turnover this offseason.
LeBron James and Kevin Love transformed the Cleveland Cavaliers into contenders again, Paul George‘s injury and Lance Stephenson‘s departure from the Indiana Pacers make them nearly irrelevant — certainly not contenders. Jabari Parker makes the Milwaukee Bucks almost watchable this season, and with Stan Van Gundy in Detroit now you almost have to take them seriously.
And the Chicago Bulls, well, they’re still the Chicago Bulls with added pieces here and there, including Pau Gasol and the expected health of Derrick Rose.
The NBA’s Central Division has the potential the be the league’s best.
At the same time, no one will be surprised if they end up being more top heavy than anything. Regardless, they should provide great theater throughout the NBA season.
Here are five bold predictions for the Central Division this season.
