Prediction: Over

Just like every year, the Hawks appear to be as mediocre as ever, lacking the necessary talent to push them over the hump, but still not quite bad enough to earn a trip to the NBA lottery.

One player that could really impact their record is center Al Horford.

The former All-Star missed a total of 53 games last year, which could be attributed to why the Hawks barely managed to hold a record above .500 for the majority of the season.

If Horford can stay healthy, this team has a chance to be a No. 5 or 6 seed playoff team. But if he winds up going down again, don’t be surprised if they finish 8th or even out of playoff contention.
