Even though Miami lost the best basketball player in the world, things could be much worse.
Team President Pat Riley did an excellent job reassembling their roster this offseason, re-signing Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade to long term deals, as well as inking talented veterans like Luol Deng, Danny Granger, Josh McRoberts and Shawne Williams.
Keeping their experienced core moderately healthy may be a challenge, but as long as Wade or Bosh don’t go down with an injury long term, the Heat should have no trouble clinching a seventh consecutive playoff appearance.
