Atlanta Hawks

Storyline: The Hawks will continue to be doomed by their inability to rebound?

The Atlanta Hawks rank 25th in the NBA in rebounds per game (38.7). In their first three games, they’ve been out-rebounded in each instance. Al Horford, the team’s leading-rebounder is averaging 8.0 per game, his lowest output since his 2011 season.

The Hawks have been hampered by it all season long. Although, I’m not sure this is something that they’ll be able to turn around midseason. Last year, they finished averaging 41 per game, which was good enough for only 28th in the NBA.

Horford was expected to help on that front. He hasn’t yet.
