2015 NBA Draft: Emmanuel Mudiay And Other Top International Prospects

4 of 6

Mario Hezonja, SG, Croatia

Vitals: 19 years, 6’8”, 200 lbs

Equipped with great speed, explosive hops and an NBA-ready frame, Mario Hezonja has all the tools to become an immediate contributor at the next level.

There’s even some NBA GM’s that believe he’s currently the best player not in the NBA, receiving the 3rd most votes for that category in the recent NBA’s Annual GM Poll.

Offensively, Hezonja is an absolute dynamo, utilizing his speed and athleticism to slash to the basket at will, as well as an improving jumper to keep defenders modest.

And while he does need to vastly improve on the defensive end of the floor, his burly frame and 6’9” wingspan could potentially make him a 2-way threat down the line, if he learns how to properly utilize his physical gifts.

With all of that in mind, Hezonja should be a lock for the lottery, and is without question the best international shooting guard the 2015 NBA Draft has to offer.

His potential on both ends of the floor and NBA-ready game will be too promising for teams to pass up on, and could elevate him to as high as the top-10, depending on how he performs for the rest of the season.
