A month into the 2014-15 season, we take a look at the NBA’s pretender and Contenders by analyzing the top-10 teams in the league

We are a month into the 2014-15 NBA season and the teams of the association are slowly beginning to reveal themselves, separating themselves from the contenders and pretenders.  There, however, can only be one (Like those commercials they use to run) and you have to be a contender just to even get into the NBA Finals.

So which teams in the league are for real, and which ones are fake?

Now for this, I will be using the top-10 teams as according to the general consensus among various power rankings, with five eastern conference teams and five western conference teams, none of these are in any particular order.
