The defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs have finally arrived. Take notice, NBA.
San Antonio has finally awaken from its hibernation that was the NBA offseason, after securing their fifth NBA championship in franchise history. During the past two weeks, the Spurs have beaten the likes of the Clippers, Warriors and LeBron’s Cavs. The Spurs have officially turned it on.
In addition, the Memphis Grizzlies just continue to throttle teams impressively, as they continue their reign as the NBA’s best team. The Houston Rockets keep winning games, scoring in bunches. And the Dallas Mavericks continue to wow offensively, while they leave much to be desired on the defensive end.
The Golden State Warriors remain close to the top, but there’s something about them that I really don’t like. I don’t know what it is yet.
In any case, here are this week’s NBA power rankings.
