Offense is Stagnant

Who would’ve thought that the Hornets would be this bad offensively?

It’s obvious they don’t possess a superstar or plethora of offensive weapons on their roster, but there’s still a few players that were supposed to make impact on that end of the floor and have failed to do so in the early going. (Gerald Henderson, Kemba Walker, Lance Stephenson, Marvin Williams).

When compared to last season, Charlotte has collectively fallen short in numerous offensive categories, dropping their points per game (96.9-93.6), field goal percentage (44.2-42.9) and three point field goal percentage (35.1-31.8) all in their first 18 games.

Whatever the reason, it’s paramount Steve Clifford can find a way to get this group sharper on the offensive side of the floor, even if that means shuffling the starting lineup.
