To call Derrick Williams’ career anything but a disappointment is a lie.

The former Arizona standout couldn’t quite translate his style of play into the pros, struggling at both forward positions and never finding a comfort zone with either the Wolves or Kings.

What’s ironic is that Williams received several comparisons to Michael Beasley before the draft, mainly due to his scoring prowess and ability to play numerous positions.

It turns out that comparison might have actually been spot on, since both guys will more than likely be out of the league and job hunting once next season gets underway.
