Carmelo Anthony is nursing a knee injury, but is sold on the fact that he needs to rough it out for the betterment of his team. He couldn’t be more wrong
Carmelo Anthony has proven that he can play through injury numerous times in his career. The fact that he feels he needs to do that again is laughable — and wrong.
The bottom line is that he doesn’t. However, for some ungodly reason, he is.
Melo has been battling knee soreness for the better part of the first 30 games of the season. He’s missed a few games here and there, but has decided to play through the pain. Which could be admirable at times, but in his current situation is downright dubious.
