Utah Jazz reserve Trevor Booker may not be a household name to typical NBA fans, but you might have heard about his incredible circus shot against the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2 weeks back.
Basically, with 0.2 remaining on the shot clock, Booker caught the ball backwards near the baseline and somehow used a volleyball-like move to tip in what seemed like an impossible shot.
Since then, it’s taken the NBA community by storm, with several Phoenix Suns players including Zoran Dragic, T.J. Warren and Miles Plumlee attempting to do the impossible, and few actually coming away successful.
Now to up the ante, Booker himself announced on Twitter that he will be giving away various prizes to 2 lucky participants (1 international, 1 domestic), if they submit a video making his patented trick shot.
One lucky international winner will receive autographed sneakers worn by Booker himself during a game and a team autographed ball. The domestic winner will get to choose between a one-on-one game of HORSE against Booker or two tickets to a Utah Jazz game.
Personally, I’d go with the one-on-one game against Booker in a heartbeat. It’s not often you can say you’ve played against an NBA player and if you win you’ll have a legendary story to tell all of your friends.
