At the start of the season, the Miami Heat looked like one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, but a mixture of injuries and mediocre play, especially from their point guards, has led Miami to fall short of expectations.

The Heat have had their fair share of bad luck this season, as both Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade have missed extended time as well as losing Josh McRoberts for the season. Other than Hassan Whiteside, every Miami Heat player needs to elevate their game for the Heat to make the playoffs. Miami is actively looking for trades to help strengthen their backcourt, but they lack assets and will be hard pressed to find a solid deal. If Miami can get healthy, the Heat have the talent to make the playoffs but that is looking like a big “if” right now.
