Even in a loss, the Cleveland Cavaliers are impressive.
When the Cavs were dealt a loss against the Houston Rockets (on the road) on Sunday afternoon, the message was already sent and received by the rest of the NBA. The Cleveland Cavaliers are for real.
Despite dropping two games recently, if the Cavs have taught us anything recently, it’s that when this team is healthy they can compete — and beat — anyone in the NBA. And that was perfectly evident when they had their way with the Golden State Warriors a few nights ago.
LeBron James was the king and Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were not even worthy to be in attendance. It wasn’t even close. The Cavs ran the Warriors — yes, ran — off the court. If this trend continues, I’m not even sure if there’s any team in the NBA that is going to be able to compete with this Cavaliers team — they’re that talented.
So, as the Cavaliers race up our NBA Power Rankings, check out how your favorite team finished this week.
