The buzz was back.

Charlotte was back to being the Hornets and they signed Lance Stephenson coming off of a breakout year with the Indiana Pacers. Stephenson was determined to have a James Harden-like effect on the Hornets, making himself a star player, and it started off great, too.

During his first game as a Hornet, he hit a game-winner and everyone was excited. After that, the next best thing to come out of Stephenson was a .gif of him appearing out of nowhere in front of Knicks head coach Derek Fisher.

As second banana to Paul George, Stephenson was averaging 13.8 ppg, now with the Hornets he is averaging 8.7 ppg. Not what you want when you’re trying to become a star.
