2014-15 Stats: 11.5 points, 8.8 rebounds

You can write an entire additional article detailing the issues between the Nuggets and, then, head coach Brian Shaw before he was fired. There was maturity issues, chemistry issues, and issues upon issues.

Faried was a casualty of that. Faried signed a 4 year, $50 million dollar deal with the Nuggets coming off of a Gold Medal winning offseason with Team USA in the FIBA World Cup, and Faried was looking to make the next step to NBA stardom.

There were even rumors that Faried wasn’t liked in the organization, even as far as trade rumors that Faried was going to be dealt at the NBA trade deadline. Faried’s stats are down almost across the board from last year and he hasn’t done much at all to justify that price tag that the Nuggets set on him.
