Montrezl Harrell, Terry Rozier Will Enter the 2015 NBA Draft

University of Louisville head coach Rick Pitino announced earlier this afternoon that he’s “100 percent” certain Montrezl Harrell and Terry Rozier will enter the 2015 NBA Draft.

This news comes just a day after the Cardinals lost to Michigan State in the Elite Eight, ending their impressive tournament run with a record of 27-9.

During the regular season Montrezl Harrell averaged 15.7 points, a team-high 9.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. Right now he’s projected to go anywhere from the lottery to the late first round according to NBADraft.net.

Terry Rozier averaged 17.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3 assists a game. His decision to go pro was more of a shocker to the Louisville community, given his uncertainty to enter the draft at first.

With 2 of their best players leaving, it’s tough to imagine Louisville bouncing back into the Elite Eight next year.

There are a few solid incoming freshman slated to join the team next season (Deng Idel, Donovan Mitchell. Raymond Spalding), but none of the names mentioned are considered elite talent.
