NBA Playoffs: With less than 10 games remaining in the regular season, we update the Eastern Conference playoff picture

More from Sir Charles In Charge

The race to the NBA playoffs is heating up at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. Just two and a half games separate the 7-seeded Miami Heat (34-40) from the Charlotte Hornets (31-42). In between these teams are the Brooklyn Nets (33-40), Boston Celtics (33-41) and Indiana Pacers (32-42).

Any of these teams could easily make the playoffs as either the 7th or 8th seed, with somewhere between eight and nine games left on the schedule. Here is an updated brief breakdown of each teams chances at making the playoffs.
