One will lose in the second round
After a fairly easy first round series, both the Cavs and Hawks should be on upset alert. Despite not exhibiting much of it throughout the season, I fully expect the Raptors and Bulls (assuming no monkey business occurs in their first round series) to give the Hawks and Cavs a run for their money.
So much so, that one of them won’t make it out of the second round. I’m leaning towards whoever faces off against the Bulls, which would mean the Cavs.
With that said, that’s not a knock on what I think about the Cavs. I think they’re great. They had an exceptional season. I just think that highly of the Bulls. Right now, and if they remain healthy, I think their brand of basketball can be troubling to opponents in the playoffs.
They have the pedigree and the talent. This might be the year — if health approves — for them to put it all together.
