The Atlanta Hawks will make the NBA Finals

The Atlanta Hawks were the best Eastern Conference team in the NBA for the betterpart of the season. Even though they hit a rough patch as of late, getting bit by the injury bug and closing the season with four losses in their last 10 games, they’re still primed for a playoff run.

Although, a quick remedy could be a first round playoff matchup against the Brooklyn Nets or the Indiana Pacers. Either way, the Hawks would sweep the floor with either of them and instantly inject them with confidence and swag that they played with for much of the year.

The Hawks should have a fairly easy road to the Eastern Conference Finals, maneuvering through the Nets or Pacers and then through the Raptors or Wizards. Neither squad could match the Hawks on the offensive or defensive side of the ball. Once they get to the ECF, their homecourt advantage and Spurs-y style of play should carry them through a lengthy series.

The Atlanta Hawks, a year removed from being the 8th seed in the East playoffs, will make the NBA Finals this season.
