An argument could be made that the Washington Wizards have looked like the most impressive team in the Eastern Conference. It’s been a weird start to the NBA playoffs.
The Wizards are one of three teams still undefeated in the NBA playoffs. They’re tied with the Warriors at 5-0 through their first handful of games in the playoffs. The most impressive thing, perhaps, is that the Wizards have picked up in the second round where they left off in the first.
Washington picked up a Game 1 victory (on the road) against the Atlanta Hawks. Not only did they steal homecourt advantage, but they also sent a message. The Washington Wizards are for real.
They’re dangerous and are willing to prove that to anyone that’s willing to listen.
