The NBA is always looks for 3-and-D players — just watch and see how much money Danny Green and DeMarre Caroll make this summer — so Tokoto would be a great player to take a risk on late in the first round or early in the second round.
While he’s not a “great” 3-point shooter, it’s something he has put a lot of work into improving. He made less than 10 percent of his 3’s his freshman season (9.1%), bumped that to 22 percent his sophomore season and then last season shot it at 37.5 percent. If he puts in more work this summer and can shoot close to 40 percent as a pro, then he’ll be a valued rotation player.
