19. Washington Wizards: Kevon Looney, UCLA
There’s a lot to like and not like about forward Kevon Looney. On one hand, he’s got the high-release jumper, length and rebounding skills to be an excellent stretch 4. On the other hand, he doesn’t have the strength or post game to compete against NBA level bigs right now. If the Wizards like Looney enough, he could be viewed as the eventual replacement for Nene Hilario, but it’s going to take time before he’s ready to be a starter.
20. Toronto Raptors: Montrezl Harrell, Lousville
Montrezl Harrell is a physical big man that uses his energy and enormous 7’3″ wingspan to effect the game in numerous ways. He mainly excels on the defensive end as a rim protector and rebounder, but can also occasionally score points off lobs or putbacks in the paint. The Raptors need a new power forward to pair next to Jonas Valuncianas, so why not go with an energizer like Harrell?
21. Dallas Mavericks: Tyus Jones, Duke
According to a report from Gery Woelfel, the Mavericks are very interested in Tyus Jones. The former Duke point guard fits the bill for what Dallas needs in a floor general, possessing great court vision, a solid three point shot and the confidence to be a starter from the get-go. His 6’1″ size is obviously the biggest concern, but if Jones can adapt against bigger competitors he could be a steal for the Mavs.
