One team not in the lottery will jump into the top-10

I’m not sure if it’ll be the Boston Celtics or the Atlanta Hawks, but I assume there’s going to be a plethora of teams interested in trading into the lottery Thursday. One, at the very least, will find a way to get the job done.

This draft is very top heavy and then pretty even throughout picks 13-30. I feel like there will be a team or two within the range of 8-14 that would be more than happy to add future assets in exchange for moving a couple spots down. It wouldn’t be the first time, nor the last.

It just depends who pulls the trigger. And it could very well be a team trading up for a player that begins to slide a few spots.
