Playmaking
At 6’4″, Grant can play both guard positions — but what sets him apart is his insane passing ability. With his height he sees the floor well, and sets his teammates up time and time again.
And the Knicks could use playmakers. Calderon is the only player on the current roster that is really a good passer.
Grant is a playmaker and he does in it several different ways.

Overall, Grant’s ability to create for others is a huge plus. Of course, the Knicks will need to obtain some talent for Grant to pass to, but for now I look forward to seeing some Jerian Grant-Carmelo Anthony pick-and-roll action.
