Picks: Karl-Anthony Towns (Kentucky), Tyus Jones (Duke)

After a terrible season, the Timberwolves did amazing when it mattered most in the 2015 draft. They got the best player from the group in Karl-Anthony Towns, which automatically made them the winners of the draft.

With future hall of famer Kevin Garnett mentoring Towns, I’m sure oppsing offensive players will be shaking with fear.

They drafted a player who could be better than even Andrew Wiggins down the road, which is insane. Minnesota didn’t stop there, they also picked up the hometown kid Tyus Jones — who could be their starting point guard in a few years.

The Timberwolves are planning their future and they’re doing it well. I’m not sure Ricky Rubio and Nikola Peković are a part of those plans, so be on the lookout for those guys to be moved either this offseason or maybe next year.

Minnesota is on the come up. It might take a few years, but this team has potential to be very dangerous in the Western Conference. All eyes will be on the T-Wolves very soon.
