Picks: Emmanuel Mudiay (China), Nikola Radicevic (Spain)

The Nuggets had a lot of team needs heading into draft night. With questions about Ty Lawson‘s future with the team, Emmanuel Mudiay fell into their lap at No. 7. Not only did the Nuggets get the best player available at No. 7, but they also got a top-5 talent in the draft and a player that will possibly replace Lawson soon.

Mudiay will fit right in with Denver’s uptempo style and he’ll excel at getting to the rim. His jumpshot still needs some improvement, but his size and athleticism is second to none at his position.

The Nuggets didn’t just get a point guard to possibly replace Lawson. They got a guy who could end being a very much better pro than Lawson, and the face of the franchise, too.
