Rumored Deal: 3-years, $59 million
Can’t knock a player getting that money but he had a chance to sign with the up-and-coming Orlando Magic, yet stayed to witness the decline of the Eastern Conference regular season champs.
The Hawks season was one of luck (IMO) and with the departure of one of their most consistent players, DeMarre Carroll, Millsap will regret this decision. He and Al Horford stepped on each others toes plenty last season and there is no indication that won’t happen again.
