Move: None. They can’t sign anyone and are losing all their free agents to other teams

How do you mess up a presentation to the premier free agent on his first official visit to any team? What could you have possibly said or done that made him say he didn’t want to play there?

LaMarcus Aldridge was a potential candidate to set up the Lakers as a relevent team in the NBA again, until Lakers brass screwed up something that might’ve been a sure thing. We don’t know. He might’ve wanted to play for the Lakers, after all he did give them a second chance. And that’s a rare thing in free agency. That has to count for something.

Not only did they let him get away (expected), but in the process decided not to re-sign Ed Davis or Jordan Hill (yet). Both players have the talent to help the Lakers in their rebuild, but Los Angeles still believes they are the Lakers of old and expect everything to be handed to them. There will be no Kevin Love, Rajon Rondo or Dwyane Wade coming to the rescue this year.

Once again, how do you mess up your most presentation of the summer?
