Old team: Portland Trail Blazers

New team: San Antonio Spurs

The biggest fish in this NBA free agency period went to the fanciest boat in the ocean.

The San Antonio Spurs, who seemingly have no idea what it’s like to lose, won — again — in free agency. Having gotten David West to take the veteran’s minimum, and leaving $11 million on the table to join San Antonio, the Spurs had an incredible offseason.

With the addition of Aldridge, the Spurs have a very formidable frontline, and a big man that will lead them for the next 5-10 years when/if Tim Duncan ever decides to retire.
