With the Las Vegas Summer League in full swing, we look at the eight common personas found in the NBA’s summer league

The stands were packed at 9 a.m. for the opening game of the Orlando Summer League. Fans filled the Magic practice gym for a much awaited Heat vs. Pacers matchup.

    The NBA Summer League is the best part of professional basketball. It is where fans get to watch the players that they admired in college compete for a spot on an NBA roster, even though they probably won’t make it. Summer league is an amalgam of NBA washouts, college standouts and international question marks.
