The Player Who only Jacks Threes: Brady Heslip
After NBA fans fell in love with Kyle Korver last season, other teams want to find their own surefire three-point shooter. Brady Heslip won the 2014 State Farm College 3-point contest when he played for Baylor, and now he is using his shooting ability to make a team.
This summer league, Heslip has attempted five shots with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and all of them were from three-point range. Unfortunately, Heslip has not yet made a shot. He also can’t help but remind Timberwolves fans of current Chicago Bulls head coach, Fred Hoiberg, who was a three-point threat during the Garnett golden days.
Heslip could provide a shooting spark for a team like Minnesota, who mainly has slashing guards. But he can also provide hair maintenance advice to his teammates (just look at that comb over).
