A few years ago Rose would probably be on the top of this list, but because of his recent injuries he hasn’t looked like the world beater he was a few years ago. Fortunately for him, even a Derrick Rose who has been through multiple knee injuries is still a top point guard in the NBA.
Rose can still shoot (it’s even a little more improved), can still distribute at a high level, can defend with the best of the other point guards in the NBA — but lacks the explosiveness that caught the eyes of nearly every NBA enthusiast early in his career.
