1. James Harden, Houston Rockets
2014-15 Stats: 27.4 points, 7 assists, 5.7 rebounds
James Harden is the straw that stirs the Houston Rockets. Harden averaged 27.4 points, 7.0 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game last season. He also has the benefit of Dwight Howard behind him to clean up some of his mess on the defensive end.
Oh, and in case you need more reason as to why he’s the top shooting guard, he almost won the NBA MVP last season. And, if I was picking, he would have won the award instead of Steph Curry.
