Before you start writing angry comments, let me first explain. While Vucevic plays for a horrible team and is not a household name, he is a gifted scorer. I’ll be the first to admit that his defense definitely needs work, and getting stronger wouldn’t hurt him. But what narrowly puts Vucevic over Drummond is his offensive game.
When it came down to it, both are centers on bad teams, who are averaging double-doubles. But Vucevic has the scoring touch that Drummond still needs to develop. Vucevic also has better court vision and accounted for 11 percent of assists while he was playing.
