The New Beginning

Miami Heat (2004-07)

In Miami, Shaq still had the game that made him a force to be reckoned with in the post, at 32 years old, but you could see the issues he was beginning to have.

Kobe said he was never in great shape and now the results were beginning to show. Luckily for him, in Miami he was teamed with another shooting guard stud in Dwyane Wade. In 2006 Shaq won his 4th and last ring with a team that included three future Hall of Fame players in Wade, Gary Payton and Alonzo Morning.

Instead of following that 4th ring with a 5th, his body began to break down at the age of 33 and he never fully regained his beast-mode like skills. When his welcome in Miami wore off, off to Phoenix he went.
