Biggest Weakness: Perimeter Game
While everyone around the Grizzlies keep improving season after season, Memphis is still stuck in a time capsule.
They managed 55 wins last year, but the offseason brought many changes for a few teams and the Grizz just stayed the course. Last season, they ranked near the bottom on three-pointers took and made. With a frontcourt that boasts Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol, a perimeter specialist or two will take plenty of pressure of their bigs, allowing them more room to operate.
They can no longer rely on Jeff Green, Courtney Lee and Mike Conley Jr. to make those shots – it hasn’t happened and it’s not gong to happen.
