Biggest Weakness: Lack of Perimeter Game
The Celtics are easing their way back into basketball fundamentals 101, with a great inside presence in Jared Sullinger and now Amir Johnson, but they still lack the perimeter game to help alleviate pressure off the bigs.
They have the slashers to get to the rim but once the defenses collapses in the paint, who can they trust to kick it out to for that open shot? Not sure if they have that one guy.
As a team they shot 33 percent from beyond the arc and, in today’s NBA game, that will not cut it.
