The Pelicans have a team of what “if’s.”
What if Jrue Holiday was healthy? What if Tyreke Evans, Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson all were healthy? You see where this is going?
The talent is there, but so are concerns. Anthony Davis may be the best playing big in the NBA right now, but he needs help. If these “what if” guys can each play in the 70-75 game range, then 50-plus wins is not out of the question. They reached the playoffs last season, but fizzled out due to injuries.
