Biggest Weakness: Passing
The Suns are must-see TV. They play an uptempo game, but you could never tell by their assist average.
Phoenix ranked No. 27 in the NBA is assists per last season, and a large part of that might be due to a lack of a true point guard. Brandon Knight was acquired from Milwaukee at the NBA trade deadline and played in only 11 games, but when he did play he averaged only five assists.
Eric Bledsoe is listed as their “point guard” but plays more like a shooting guard, and only averaged six assists per game. If the Suns are looking to make a run at the playoffs next season, they must find a play-maker that thinks pass first in order for their offense to shine.
