Biggest Weakness: Carmelo Anthony

Phil Jackson can only do but so much with the talent and money that is given.

The pressure still falls on the shoulders and mindset of star player Carmelo Anthony. If the Knicks are serious about rebuilding and starting from scratch, then Anthony has to be let go.

For as good as he is, he will never be what the Knicks need him to be – great. He can easily shoot you in the game or shoot you out of it. He plays below average defense and has a small amount of hustle in his body.

He must lead the youth movement the Knicks have their eyes on, but he just isn’t the guy to do it.
