Quin Snyder should have received an award just for winning 38 games with the Jazz last season. If you look at the Jazz on paper, they could be the most mediocre team in the NBA (I don’t count the Knicks and Lakers because they are in a separate level of bad, which is reserved for draft picks like Hasheem Thabeet and teams like the 2012 Charlotte Bobcats).
The Jazz have some talent with Derrick Favors, Gordon Hayward and Dante Exum, but I wouldn’t exactly consider that trio the next Big Three. Snyder is building the Jazz back into a contending team, but the process is just beginning. The Jazz won’t make the playoffs, and I don’t know if they will even win half of their games this year, but Snyder is turning this team back into the Utah Jazz that we once loved. You know, the team with Greg Ostertag and Mehmet Okur, or maybe that was just me.
