4. Rick Carlisle, Dallas Mavericks
It was a tough choice between Rick Carlisle and Doc Rivers, but in the end it really came down to winning percentage. While Rivers has won 57.2 percent of the games that he has coached, Carlisle has won 59 percent of the games that he has coached.
Both Carlisle and Rivers have won a NBA Title, but Carlisle accomplished it by playing both J.J. Barea and Brian Cardinal in the playoffs. Carlisle is ranked at No. 4 because he can work with whoever Mark Cuban gives him. It doesn’t matter that the Mavericks missed out on DeAndre Jordan, because Carlisle will still find a way to win.
