I think it’s important that before we get to the ranking of all 30 NBA team’s starting 5s, we get a few things clear.
First, and I believe that this should be pretty clear, this wasn’t an easy task to do.
Second, it’s important to note that these are paper rankings and not based on what many are projecting each team to do this season. Basically, the Warriors could have a better starting five even though you may think the Spurs might have the better season. Just because one team’s starting five is ranked higher than an other team’s, doesn’t mean that team is any better.
Think of it more as a talent ranking.
And third, the rating system is probably flawed. I tried to use as much common sense as possible, but there will definitely be some human error.
