For the first time in a long while, the NBA is starting to show signs of parity. Before last year, for the past 20 years the only teams to win the finals were the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls and the San Antonio Spurs.

The Golden State Warriors bucked that trend last year, and now with Golden State getting ready to take over the NBA, we are also starting to see the rise of some young contenders that will take the league by storm.
Just this offseason, the Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves all took steps closer to becoming real players in the NBA. But, of course, as the Warriors could attest to, becoming championship contenders in the NBA is a process.
