Backcourt: Chris Paul & JJ Redick
Chris Paul is the official blueprint for what a point guard in the NBA should be. He could do it all and, at some level, he still can. Health is becoming his downfall now, as age and the weight of failure, is starting to weigh heavy on his shoulders and mind.
But he can still give you 20-plus points and 10-plus assist on a nightly basis due to the weapons he has around him.
JJ Redick is more like Kyle Korver, if you give them an ounce of space they will make you pay, but if the defense is tight they will vanish. Redick is not much of a defender or rebounder, and that’s why has the Clippers sitting in this spot on the rankings.
