Backcourt: Jrue Holiday/ Tyreke Evans & Eric Gordon
The Pelicans have an issue at the point guard position with Tyreke Evans and Jrue Holiday. It began with Evans coming off the bench at the beginning, but when Holiday went down Evans was inserted and the Pelicans would not have made the playoffs without that move.
With everyone healthy at the start this season, what happens? Eric Gordon is a great perimeter player, but last season he showed that he could put it on the floor and attack the basket. He needs to improve on his defense this season for the Pelicans to advance further than the second round.
