Backcourt: Trey Burke & Alec Burks
The Utah Jazz will likely start Trey Burke due to the injury of Dante Exum. Im my opinion, Exum should be coming off the bench anyway but they needed the scoring punch of Burke for the second unit.
On the other hand, Burks is in a position to make a name for himself this year. He doesn’t have to score at a high rate, just being able to knock down the open shots that will come his way when one of the bigs kicks the ball back out to him on the perimeter is OK.
This is now Burke’s time to shine in running the point. He was great last season coming off the bench, but now he must produce at a higher level. He must become a pass-first player rather than a shoot-first one.
