Backcourt: Derrick Rose & Jimmy Butler
Derrick Rose is back – well that’s depending on what happens off the court with the allegations.
But this is about when he is on the court. He still can take over a game with his defense, scoring and passing abilities. Rose is still one of the quickest guards in the NBA, but I would love to see his assist totals rise to more than five per game.
Jimmy Butler has surpassed Rose as the face of the franchise, and he has done so with hard work and dedication. Butler took a huge jump, becoming an all-star last year as he was great playing both ends of the floor.
