Backcourt: Ty Lawson & James Harden

James Harden is no one’s sidekick anymore, as he has firmly established himself as the Alpha Male in Houston.

Harden improved on defense last year and managed to become more than a scorer, as he added facilitator to his repertoire. He has quite possibly the best move off the dribble to get open for a shot move in the NBA (the step-back).

The one position the Rockets were lacking in last season was the point guard, but with the addition of Ty Lawson, things are about to change is Houston.

Lawson, if he can stay sober, will bring his defense and all-around game to #RedNation and make everyone around him better and happy. By he end of the year, don’t be surprised to see Lawson leading the league in assists.
